Our workshops are specially constructed to enhance TEAMWORK, PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, TRUST, IMAGINATION, PERCEIVED RISK-TAKING, COMMITMENT, and F.U.N.N.
The catalysts we use to help foster group support, individual acceptance, and self-esteem are problem-solving scenarios, physcially and mentally stimulating initiatives, new games, Low and High Ropes Course Elements, and a Workshop with a view; when you're up in those trees the panorama is unlimited. Karl (Skip) Rohnke, co-founder of Project Adventure and the Leader of Leaders for Challenge Courses/Adventure Programming, coined the phrase Challenge by Choice ...and I really like that concept.
We profess Choose the Challenge: we ask you to go beyond the limits you've set in this life—to push forth, or hold back the little voices that come from the experiences of long ago that so structure and inhibit your full potential...
No one is coerced or cajoled into any aspect of this process. Your own voice is the one we ask you to hear...and listen to: "Go With Your Own Flow." Our job, I dare say, our mission, is to help support you in any decision you make. In its normal context we regard failure with going BACKWARDS, but in OC's concept we think of failing as failing forward. Each try, each attempt, each idea put forth takes us closer to our true self. Come play and push your experiences to reach a greater portion of your full potential.

We customize each of our workshops to meet your needs and abilities. Our primary goals are for you to have a safe (both physically and emotionally) and fun learning experience, while challenging yourself (with control) to "go for it" (the "it" being your personal challenge).
A typical one-day workshop at one of our courses in the pines of Grass Valley, CA: In the morning, we'll do some trust and get-to-know-you activities, and a variety of individual iniatives to help foster team closeness and cohesiveness.
Next, you'll be presented with physically- and mentally-challenging problems (puzzles, low ropes elements) designed to strengthen your group's communication, ingenuity, and efficiency. We divide larger groups into smaller teams of 8-15, facilitating the team-building process and allowing us to accommodate almost any size group.
Lunch is bring-your-own or catered for $15-25 per person (depending on menu).
After lunch, you'll be allowed to climb the various High Ropes Elements (on belay—tied into an over-engineered safety system) with the support and encouragement of the rest of us. All aspects of climbing are the participant's choice.
Cost for one-day workshop:
$45/person - Kindergarten through 12th grade
$55/person - College Student
$75/person - Adult
